These Air Jordan 5 sample were produced as a potential Spring ‘09 release, but for whatever reason, they were never released. Air Jordan 5 Sample sports a White/Black/Varsity Red color scheme which could have been an instant hit. The red outline around the “shark’s tooth” section of the midsole and the embroidered eyeball graphic on the side of the upper were inspired by the military designed Grey Nurse version of the AJF 5. Sadly, there’s no confirmation if these will be released at all. Jordan Brand is set to drop the new Air Jordan 1 Phat Low this August. The shoe is simply just white and grey colorway. The upper is constructed from white leather material with pebbled texture for an added attraction. The shadow grey color lies on the outsole, lining and swoosh which is made of chenille. Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony will be wearing his sixth signature shoe from the Jordan Brand, the Jordan Melo M6 during the 2009-10 NBA season. The upper consists of patent leather, suede, leather, and a breathable mesh. Also, the shoe has gold stitching and Blue Sky accents. No word on the release date yet but keep a look out for updates.
This shoe pays tribute to the April 20, 1986 game where Michael Jordan poured in 63 points against the Boston Celtics in their own building. This Air Jordan III will return in the Slam Dunk Pack, a two pair release that celebrates Michael Jordan NBA Slam Dunk Contest victories. The pack will contain both pairs of kicks that Mike wore when winning back to back Slam Dunk Contest titles in 1987 and 1988. The other shoe involved in this pack is the Air Jordan II Retro White/Black -Varsity Red. The Air Jordan Slam Dunk Pack will hit retailers sometime in 2010
Jordan Brand is teaming up with the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital again to help raise funds for significant medical research and resources. This Air Jordan 6 hosts a navy blue suede upper with gold and red accents. A couple other key aspects of this sneaker include “What time is it?”, “Game time!” on the tongue, the number one on the rear, and “06/08″ on the upper. To cap it all off, Jordan Brand has also included an icey clean clear midsole. No exact details on the release date, but you can expect the shoe to drop sometime this Fall.
